OOPS!

I just realized that I put two pictures of the same baby on our twin up-date. I don't know how to take the picture off so I will just post another picture of the other baby ( Baby B). Still getting the hang of this blogging :0). The picture is kind of blurry but you can see the babies spine really well in this picture.

Gracie's first Fall Soccer Game - VICTORY!!!!

She is the little one. Going in for the steal!
Taking off for her first goal of the season!
Passing off to her buddy Molly.
Giving her Daddy a smile. Sweet.
Hustling to the ball.

Gracie has turned into quite the little soccer player. If you look in most of the pics you can notice that she is one of the smaller ones on the field. Her team of mainly 7 and a few 6 year olds actually play up a level against 8 year olds. They are a great group of girls who are so incredible to watch play and see develop. They also have great coaches ( Greg happens to be one of them :0)). This was their first game of the season and of course as parents we know they are an incredible team but were unsure of what to expect for their first game. They dominated winning 8 to 1! It was a blast to watch!

Twins update!! They are making healthy progress.

At 14 weeks
6 week ultra sound. Babies are each about 1 1/2 to 2 inches long.
6 week again. They both still fit on the same screen at this point!
Baby A
15 week ultra sound and no longer do they both fit on the same screen. Sorry about the glare. The babies are each between 41/2 to 5 inches long.
Baby B

Last Friday we went for a routine check up and everything looked great! Doc told me the aches and pains and all of the different things going on are good and will only intensify! As long as the babies are good - I am too! It is much different this go around cause we get to see the babies about every three weeks. With the girls we saw them twice and then we didn't see them again till they were in our arms. Our doctor tried really hard to find the sex of each but they are still a little to small. I have to say that I got very excited when I thought I did see a "boy part" which turned out to be the umbilical cord and the doctor informed me that it would not be that obvious anyway. On Oct. 5th we will see the parientologist (doctor who specializes in multiple babies during pregnancy). We are pretty sure at this appointment we will find out what were are having! Ellie has stuck to a boy and a girl the whole time. Gracie changes her mind frequently. Greg and I think girls because we don't know any different. Healthy babies is of course what we are praying for and would appreciate you to join us in that prayer as well!

First day of school for Graceo and Ellie Bean

They were both thrilled to be starting school and as hard as it was to let go of them (especiallly Gracie for a WHOLE day for 5 days - thats a lot) they are loving it. Ellie's first Tuesday was great and then had a dramatic change on Thursday, she completly had a break down. It was sooooo sad, I stuck around to make sure that she was ok and with in about 10 minutes she had pulled it together and was having fun. We had to have a few talks for following school days but she is now doing pretty good! She is so cute marching into school and showing me everything like it is for the first time every day! As for Gracie, she loves school, friends, teacher, learning - all of it! I have gone to meet her a few times for lunch and she is so happy to see me which melts my heart. It probably won't be a lot longer that she wants me to do this so I am trying to go as often as I can! Tomorrow I am going to take my Grandmother with us and she is thrilled!

Father's Day surprise!

We found out we were having our third child! A week later we found out we are
expecting a third and fourth child! TWINS!!!!!!
I love these pictures b/c they are first thing in the morning and filled with happy emotion!
Gracie and Ellie could not have a better Daddy than they do, and they would say the same. He can definitely bring the most beautiful smiles to their faces when they have been filled with frowns. They adore him. This day will always be remembered b/c we found out we would be having our third child, it was not until a few weeks later that we found out we are expecting twins! More to come about the twins. I have to add in my bit of thankfulness for Greg too! I am blessed to have him as my husband, best friend, buddy, troubleshooter, team mate and to have his hands to hold. I truly cherish him.

Lake Time

We always have a blast at he lake! The girls especially love the tube. Ellie's smile
may be slightly fake ( she is not quite as comfortable as Gracie yet!)
Greg has become really good on the wake board and Gracie even gave
it a whirl with water skiing! She did'nt make it up but we were so proud
that she tried, next summer she will for sure make it!
