Phoenix, Arizona

So far, soccer is the chosen sport in our home!  We gage what our kids want to do by what they say and the fun they have doing those things ~ hands down soccer is what they say first!!  It helps that they have a great soccer coach too!  Our trip to Arizona was certainly an adventure with all  6 of us but an incredible memory as well!  Gracie is 7 already playing on a team consisting of 8 year olds who play against older 8 and 9 year olds~for this tournament she happened to be 1 of 7 who were handpicked off of her team to go and compete in a U9 tournament!!  May seem a little extravagant for such a young age and it may not always be something we can do but we made it happen this time and what a great memory it was!!!   Her team went undefeated and man did she play her little heart out.  Gracie played excellent defense as well as wing position scoring 1 of the 9 points in the whole weekend!!  She truly is a fantastic little soccer player and has a great time doing it!!

We got to stay with our sweet friends the Vatter's at Emily's Dads home!  This picture was at their country club eating dinner.

Ellie and he r buddy Karter who is on her soccer team.  They happen to be following closely in their sisters footsteps!

It was hot!

Mother Teresa... Nope its Gracie

Gracie chose to research Mother Teresa for her biography report.  Her reasons for choosing Mother Teresa were;  she is a Christian and she lived her life to help others.  She could have chosen anyone to research but this is the person she was convicted by and I think she made a great choice!!!  I told my Mom I was going to tape some material together to make her costume, she must not have thought that was a great idea though!!  With 48 hours till her presentation "Nanny"  whipped up this great costume that could not have been any better!

Mexico... Great Friends, Greg and I... Need I Say More!!!

Royal Hideaway, Playacar, Mexico=fabulous!!!!!!!  We had the best time ever and I will hold that time so special to me cause I had so much time with my sweet husband and best friend Greg.  Not to get all mushy, but I treasure time with just Greg.  We are so blessed to have such a sweet family that we both love dearly... but our "large" family began with just Greg and I and now "Greg and I time" is spread very thin!  I feel so lucky to have such a wonderful man for my Husband and Father for my beautiful children!!  I am so thankful for him making this trip happen for us and it is a memory that I will forever tuck away in my heart.  We were able to have breakfast, run and walk on the beach together, lay by the pool and beach and many more fun memories!  We really enjoyed our time with Heidi and Drew as well~watching people, good talks and good laughs will be remembered for forever!

Drew and Greg enjoying the ocean and busting out some YC soccer skills~they still have it casue they defeated the locals!!

The end of our trip resulted in flight delay and even more anxiousness to get home to see our sweet peas~we were so ready to see them and the delay made us crazy!!
Our sad faces~ha!
MANY, MANY, MANY THANKS to MOM, BEANIE AND AUNT MICHELE!!!!!  We are so grateful for them to being more than willing and happy to take our kids while we enjoyed some time away~we treasured our time together as I know our kids treasured their time with you all!!  Im pretty sure that Mom and Aunt Michele had some pretty good laughs of their own too~you are both sweet sisters that I look at and think I hope my girls have the same realtionship as the both of you!!
